I fly a manticore with the following fit:
3x Arbalest cruise launchers with CN wrath cruise, 1x impcloak II 1x Sensorbooster II, 3x muon dampeners 1x BCU II, 1x overdrive T2 2x damp strength rigs
I think i can fit one or two T2 launchers or a second BCU with a CPU implant, havent checked.
I would give my friends left nut for the covops cloak... --

Really? I think you're a bit off on that. I'll point out a few instances where autolock is a friggin PITA.
-First and foremost, a friendly locks you to heal you midfight. -Second, small gang annoyances when tacklers are locking you and you cannot lock primary etc. -Shooting and EWing wrong target due to an autolock you didn't see.
There are more, just don't feel like thinking. --

Fixed. If they could warp in when cloaked then it would be way too easy to set up multi bomber strikes and it would be virtually impossible to stop them.
Even in the days when the Pilgrim and Arazu were at their height they were still restricted by the very high price and limited offensive capability.
Then increase there price. TBH, the SB needs to have the ability to surprise. Not everyone can wait on a ******* gate for hours. Also they are not even viable low-sec ships due to the fact they cannot warp cloaked. What, you're gonna sit in a random ass belt hoping someone comes in and doesn't move when you fire? C'mon. --

Actually they work quite well in losec. The suprise value is either keeping them cloaked until needed or in an adjacent system. Run a few in an inty/AF/EIF swarm and see what I mean. A couple in a gang of 8-10 adds speedy sneaky Raven DPS with EWAR to boot.
No need for them to warp cloaked...that would be overpowered. Some more speed or further reduced sig radius when not cloaked would be handy. Making them a bit more difficult to lock would not be out of line.
I understand how to use a stealthbomber. But using them on lowsec gates is ********. --

I think the main issue would be that cov ops would be obsolete if SBs could warp stealthed. Sure they can probe, but still.
Not true. If I am correct the covops can warp MUCH faster than the SB. Covops is for scanning and scouting. I mean, if you want, quadruple the warping time for the SB, I don't care. --

The only time I have engaged on a losec gate is against an outlaw/flagged target. Normal use in losec is open or dead space (same as any other small ship unable to take sentries).
Not all outlaws sit at gates all day either...unlike most alliances .
And that is exactly my point. No one wants to just sit there on a gate all day. But in a paper thin ship, that you need to ambush to get a kill with, you are forced to since you cannot warp cloaked. --

Originally by: Bahhs Deep That's why as I said on the first page, any system you plan on "hunting" in you should set up offgrid BMs to warp to. When I go out doing this I fit ODI IIs in the lows to go faster. Works well when you are going to go on a campaign of hit and runs on gate camps and such.

With offgrid BM's the enemy will never know you're there until it's too late. You have to be VERY patient to be an avid stealth bomber.
SB's are fine as they are, cloaking while warped will be overpowering. It would become the new NanoGang you see roaming everywhere. Or "wouldn't see" in this case...until it's too late and you're dead. You see there's absolutely no way to defend yourself against that kind of gang...other than cloaking and all that other common sense stuff.
People DO use ship scanners. It is impossible to get into an enemies headquarters constellation and move around without your movements being thrown into every intel channel they have. All I'm saying is, you CANNOT remain unseen and ambush correctly without waiting somewhere for HOURS. It's not like this ship is fast, tanked, or anything of that nature. If it is able to be fired on, most likely this thing is going down. I do not see the problem.
People say that: "Oh, when you get a gang of these things they'll pwn." Well no ****. You get a gang of anything and they are gonna beat the **** out of unsuspecting ships and smaller gangs. --
